We plan to cover most of Chapters 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 8.
II. Grading

Your grade will be determined by
- Two midterms (20% each)
- One final exam (30%)
- Weekly assignments (30%)
Exam dates:
- Midterm 1: Wednesday, Feb 19th (in class)
- Midterm 2: Friday, April 4th. (in class)
- Final Exam: Thursday, May 8th from 4 - 7pm

III. Homework & Latex

Homework is due every Wednesday in class. Of the assigned problems you are to type one of the problems into Latex and hand in a printed version. Let me know if you need any help in preparing your first few latex documents. While you may work together on homework problems, the work you hand in must be in your own words.
IV. Late Assignments
--------------------
In general, late work is not accepted. If there is a future conflict please speak to the instructor as soon as possible before the conflict to make appropriate arrangements.
